[Early in the morning Belle picks up her journal, ready to make an announcement she's been planning to give for awhile.]

Good morning Luceti. I hope everyone is well. I would also like to welcome all of the New Feathers. I know things may seem overwhelming at the moment, but I'm sure you'll settle in just fine. It was actually a year ago today that I arrived in Luceti myself and I couldn't let the day pass without expressing my appreciation for everyone here. We've all been through so much over the past year. Things I don't believe I would have been able to get through without the help and support of my friends. So I just wanted to let you all know how thankful I am.

[She pauses here for a brief moment, trying to figure out how to best say the next part.]

Last month, in particular, was hard on all of us. We all needed time afterward to feel like ourselves again. But now I believe it's time to truly put all of that behind us. And what better way to do that than with a party? A slumber party to be exact.

A good friend of mine told me about them not too long ago and it sounded so exciting. I have never experienced a slumber party for myself, but I would really like to correct that. For those who don't know what it is, it's a party that takes place overnight in someones home. And I would love it if everyone would come. I simply can't do it without everyone's help.

If you would like to come it would be wonderful if you could bring your own pillows and blankets and snacks of your choice. I will do my best to supply people who don't have these things, but I simply don't have enough for everyone.

And...oh my! I haven't told you where the party is being held, have I? It will take place in House 17. My home for those unaware. There's plenty of space. So please come. [With that said she closes her journal.]

[Belle goes about her normal day as usual. She does chores around town a little bit earlier than normal. Anyone who runs into her at the bakery or grocery shop is free to notice that she's picking up a lot of food. Clearly it can't all be for her. And somehow she'll get all of this food home, either by herself or with some help.

Later in the afternoon can find her in the library, working her shift. It's been a slow day so far, so anyone who comes in can find Belle leaning on the counter, engrossed in her latest book.]

[He takes the books, not picking them up immediately but placing his hands on the stack.] Thanks, miss.

I've got to say I have plenty of those. I've read a lot of books since I was younger, and it's hard to choose just one.

...Yes. It certainly was. But I believe I was one of the lucky ones. I'm certain there were others who experienced things far worse than I did.

Oh, really? That's nice. I have one in particular that I always pick up whenever I wish to read but don't have a certain story in mind.

When you get to be my age. [He chuckles and shrugs his shoulders.] There were these four years when I spent most of my waking time at a library. I read almost all of the books there in that time... it's difficult to choose one favorite. But if you don't mind me asking, what's the title of this book of yours?

That's kind of you. I...might stop by.

[Events like these have never really been Konan's thing, but she has been wanting to reach out more to others. It couldn't hurt to go for just a couple of hours.]

I might bring a friend as well.

[She smiles widely.]

Wonderful! And yes, feel free to bring friends along.

[She laughs.] You hardly seem as old as you're trying to make yourself out to be. But no, I don't mind. I'm just not sure what the title is, or if it has one. The cover of the book is plain and blue. But inside it tells a story of a princess and a prince and a huge misunderstanding.

Ah, wonderful! I'd be happy to come to your party, Belle, and I'll be sure to bring plenty of snacks for everyone too. How many people do you think will be coming?

[He smiles almost mischievously.] Oh, you'd be surprised.

Nameless books have always been around. It sounds like an interesting story nonetheless.

That's true. I guess we were both lucky. I had... a lot of great times then, Belle. And... nothing bad happened to you when the fights started happening, did it? [Bad things did happen to Aang at that phase, but he won't let on to that.]

[Konan inclines her head and disconnects the feed.]

(ooc: Mind if I handwave Konan making an appearance? I'm kind of swamped for tags right now. She would not have stayed overnight, but likely would show up for about 2 hours or so.)

No. I mostly stayed close to the farm when that happened. I wouldn't have been much aid after all.

Yes, it is. I know there's a copy of it around here somewhere. I could look and have it ready for you next time, if you'd like.

I'm so glad! After all you were the one who gave me the idea, Jack. I don't know the exact number of people coming. But I think perhaps ten or so people are coming for sure.

You know what, that'd be great. I've read a lot but it's been a while since I had anyone recommend a book to me. It'll be nice.

Hmm, then two dozen of each different type of treat should be enough for everyone to have two, wouldn't you think? Rapunzel bakes the most wonderful things; there's no way that people wouldn't enjoy something that comes from the bakery.

Wonderful! I'll make sure to have it ready. However, if I happen not to be here when you come, you can just ask Helios for it. He knows where I stash the books I hold for someone.

I should think so. That would be splendid. The bakery is a very good choice. I was thinking of going there myself actually.

Do you know Rapunzel, Belle? Something tells me the two of you would get along splendidly!

Helios? Aah, I think I remember that man -- haven't spoken to him in a few months, but I'll look forward to seeing either of you. Thanks for offering, Miss Belle.

He's the other librarian here besides me. So if I'm not around for any reason, he will surely be here. You're quite welcome.

I'll make sure to bake a whole bunch, so there's enough to go around!

Hey... You're a strong person, Belle. But I'm just glad that you were okay. I-

[He hesitates for a moment.]

I was afraid of losing you.

I can't say I'm surprised to hear that-- you two seem like you must have a lot in common. But I'm glad that you have so many friends here to have a slumber party with. The more friends, the merrier!
