[Belle is quite pleased when she wakes up and sees the bright white-ness of snow falling outside her window. Despite the cold she's always loved this time of year when the snow comes and covers everything and the lakes ice up. There's a simple beauty to it that she's always favored. Plus snow is very fun to play with.

So she wasts no time in getting out of bed and dressing in her warmest of clothes before hurrying outside to enjoy the weather. Anyone passing by House 17 will most likely catch Belle during one of the following activities: building a snowman, making snow angels, or engaging people in a good old fashioned snow ball fight. Anyone who is up for a little fun in the snow is more then welcome to join her.

Hello Luceti. I'm sure everyone has noticed that the snow has started falling by now. It has made me wonder what sort of seasonal activities others enjoy the most. Personally I quite enjoy playing in the snow, making snowballs or snow-people. So my question is, what sort of activities to you enjoy the most this time of year?

Nope! Or at least the penguins me and my friend rode weren't hurt at all. Maybe they're stronger than normal penguins. Oh and also, they were otter-penguins.

Otter-penguins? I've never heard of such a creature. Perhaps they only exist where you're from.

Do they differ much from regular penguins?

As far as I know, they do only exist at home. [Being around as long as he has, he's grown pretty savvy of how his animals are like hybrids of other world's animals.] It's a real shame because of how cool they are.

It's like a penguin, but more... ottery, I guess. [He's been studying his Zoobooks.] It's got a mouth instead of a beak, with a nose and whiskers, and it's got four flippers.

They are very apt-ly named if they look anything like what I'm imagining. Do they enjoy it when people use them as sleds?

They don't really mind. It helps them go faster, too, plus we feed them before we ride them.

They must at least enjoy that part very much.

They do! Going real fast is fun for everyone! Is there anything you like to ride, Miss?

Well...I do enjoy ice skating. Have you ever skated?

I just went for the first time yesterday!

I used to skate a handful of time every winter back home.

I hope you can find some then! Some gotta turn up at the item store... but then again, there's lots of other people who will be wanting skates with the ice around, too. If I find any, I'll get 'em for you, or I'll see if the ones I got can fit you!
