[Belle is quite pleased when she wakes up and sees the bright white-ness of snow falling outside her window. Despite the cold she's always loved this time of year when the snow comes and covers everything and the lakes ice up. There's a simple beauty to it that she's always favored. Plus snow is very fun to play with.

So she wasts no time in getting out of bed and dressing in her warmest of clothes before hurrying outside to enjoy the weather. Anyone passing by House 17 will most likely catch Belle during one of the following activities: building a snowman, making snow angels, or engaging people in a good old fashioned snow ball fight. Anyone who is up for a little fun in the snow is more then welcome to join her.

Later in the afternoon she'll pull out her journal and dictate a quick message for the village.]

Hello Luceti. I'm sure everyone has noticed that the snow has started falling by now. It has made me wonder what sort of seasonal activities others enjoy the most. Personally I quite enjoy playing in the snow, making snowballs or snow-people. So my question is, what sort of activities to you enjoy the most this time of year?

Oh, it's very simple indeed, sweetheart: one finds a snow-and-slush covered path, and then one runs -- fastlike -- and SLIDES. Fast as you can!

Without any form of sled? Wouldn't that lead to possible injuries?

Well walkin' out your front door could lead to possible injuries! What difference does a sled make?!

It protects your body from the elements at least a little. I can only imagine that using your own body as a sled would lead to some impressive bruises at the least.

You find bruises on a man impressive, then?

No. I simply meant that it would leave many bruises that would be impossible to come by any other way.

AH. You know, lass -- I think you should try it before you knock it all black and blue the way you're doin'.

I don't mean to seem critical, monsieur. It just seems to be a very unsafe practice.

Sort of like a coconut, but you strap it to your skull.

But why would anyone wear a coconut on their heads?

The coconut's hard. Protects the brain and all the mushy interior bits within the skull. Don't you think it sounds like a wonderful idea?

Well...I suppose that makes sense. And if it works as you say then it would make the activity safer.

What you should do immediate-like, darling, is strap a coconut to your head and go jacksledding. That's my final word on the matter. Safe as churches.

Hmmm...I will have to think about it. And locate a coconut of course.

[Jack would probably get along really well with her dad.]

Think about it, but make sure you do it before the snow melts, mistress! One cannot Jacksled on mud! Cheers!
